Help viewing tamil pages in tamil

This document is still not finalized because of our tamil pages are still under beta testing.

Search in Tamil Beta Version

You need to download and have the following font installed on your computer "SooriyanDotCom". This is a unicode font and supports tamil unicode characters. You can download a free font from Sooriyan or from our server

Steps to downloading and installing fonts for windows

  1. download Sooriyan by clicking here
  2. right click - save it into on to your computer
  3. Goto Control panel > Fonts > File > Install New Font
  4. Select the font that you downloaded by selecting the correct path where you saved Sooriyan Font.
  5. Then close your browser and open the brower again to our tamil version page
  6. If you still cannot see proper tamil
    1. If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox
      1. Goto view and Encoding
      2. select utf-8 as the encoding type.
